Experience
Gladys is an Associate, resident in the New York office. Her practice focuses on commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing and related matters.
Prior to Windels Marx, Gladys practiced at a boutique law firm where she represented developers, investors and owners in multi-million-dollar acquisitions, financing, development and dispositions of single-asset real estate and complex portfolios, including industrial warehouse/distribution centers, retail shopping centers, mixed-use buildings and undeveloped land.
Prior to that, she was a litigator and represented clients in all aspects of complex commercial litigation involving breach of contract actions, condo and co-op disputes, J-51/rent stablization class actions, foreclosures and estate and trusts proceedings.
Gladys was a Graduate Fellow for the Honorable Debra Freeman, Magistrate Judge, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, as well as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Jane A. Restani in the U.S. Court of International Trade, New York.
