Tanya Mascarich Named Co-General Counsel to Prominent NJWLA
Windels Marx is pleased to announce Tanya Mascarich’s role as Co-General Counsel to the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA). Tanya has been active with the organization since 2013, including serving on the Board of Directors as Co-Chair of the Marketing Committee and, most recently, as Secretary. She has also been instrumental in expanding the firm’s participation in NJWLA events, including the widely attended annual WILL Platinum Gala and the annual golf outing.
In her role as Co-General Counsel, Tanya will be tasked with advising the NJWLA President and its Board on various legal issues that may arise, including (but not limited to): vendor agreements, by-laws, parliamentary procedures and legal compliance matters.
NJWLA is an independent association whose mission is to advance and retain women in the legal profession through education and activism, to promote qualified women to the highest levels of law firm, government, academic, community and corporate positions and to endorse qualified female attorneys for appointments to the state and federal judiciary.
