Nisselson, Simon, Barr Make News Again with Galleon Case

The 2010 case against Raj Rajaratnam and Galleon Group once again made news as Alan Nisselson, serving as Trustee in the liquidation, sought millions of dollars from Rajaratnam himself. Howard Simon and Les Barr are representing Alan in his role. The lawsuit states Rajaratnam received "as much as $13 million from selling a claim in the Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. bankruptcy, which had been held by a Galleon fund." Rajaratnam described the monies as salary, and the case challenges that the sum (and other monies transferred to him) were far in excess of any salary owed.
