Matt Daus Quoted in AP Article on Data Recorders in NYC Taxis

Matt Daus (Partner, New York) was quoted in a March 1, 2014 Associated Press article on Mayor Bill de Blasio's proposal to install black-box-style data recorders in New York City taxis in an effort to prevent speeding.

Matt, who is President of the International Association of Transportation Regulators (IATR), said in support of the plan:

  • "Some limousine and car-service fleets around the country have seen accidents drop by 50 percent or more after installing data recorders."
