Matt Daus Speaks at RI Hearing on Minimum Charge for Livery Service

Matt Daus (Partner, New York) spoke in favor of a proposed $40 minimum charge on all livery cabs and limo rides in the state at a Rhode Island Division of Public Utilities and Carriers hearing.

According to the Providence Journal, Matt compared minimum charges across 13 other jurisdictions in the United States and said the Rhode Island proposal is low, adding:

  • It's not something that's unique. And it's reasonable from a regulator's point of view.
