Experience

Shraddha Deshpande's practice is concentrated on patent counseling and litigation with an emphasis on pharmaceutical patent matters arising under the Hatch-Waxman Act.

Prior to Windels Marx, Shraddha was an Associate in the California offices of law firms where she focused on patent prosecution and patent drafting for the life sciences, medical devices and mechanical sectors. She also worked in both the U.S. and India as an IP paralegal and held numerous internships in support of patents, trademarks and related disputes.

In addition to her admission to the State Bar of California, she is an Advocate of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. She is fluent in English, Marathi and Hindi.

  • Winner - Deccan Education Society 9th Lokmanya Tilak National Appellate Moot Court Competition (Pune, India).
