Windels Marx Opens New Office in Madison, New Jersey

Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP announced today that it has opened a new office in Madison New Jersey. The core of the new office will consist of eight partners three transferring from the firm's other offices in New Jersey and five new partners. Samuel G. Destito and Charles M. Fisher will be bringing their litigation practices from the Princeton office and Douglas A. Beimfohr will bring his trusts and estates practice from the New Brunswick office. Also joining the new office are partners Richard Bier, formerly of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, and Richard A. Crooker, from Cuyler Burk, P.C., who joined the firm last month. Stefano V. Calogero and Andrew K. Craig, Mr. Crooker's colleagues from Culyer, join the Firm as partners. Mr. Calogero's practice is devoted primarily to insurance coverage, product liability, and general commercial litigation. Mr. Craig's practice is focused on insurance litigation, employment claims, and Brownfield environmental opportunities. Clark E. Alpert joins the firm from Albert Butler & Weiss. In addition to a substantial health-care practice, Mr. Alpert has extensive experience in business matters as well as complex litigation in both New Jersey and New York.
