Experience
Yitang Zheng's practice focuses on real estate and related matters. He represents both lenders and borrowers in connection with acquisitions, sales, financing and refinancing of commercial properties.
He is involved in the negotiation and drafting of a variety of transactional documents, including purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, operating agreements and other organizational documents.
He also counsels on the drafting of store leases, ground leases and license agreements.
Representative Matters of Note
- Represented ULLICO in a $420 million construction loan to the developers (a joint venture of Brookfield Properties and G&S Investors) for Phase 2 of Hudson Exchange in Jersey City, NJ. The project consists of approximately 800 residential units, a Shop-Rite as anchor tenant plus 115,000 sf of additional retail and green space tied to the Sixth Street Embankment, an elevated rail line.
