William A. Kelly represents clients in all aspects of corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on securities regulations, public and private equity and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Windels Marx, Mr. Kelly represented hedge, private equity and venture capital funds, investment advisers and startup ventures. He provided counsel in connection with fund formation, corporate and regulatory issues and private offerings. He has advised a variety of funds and businesses, with complex onshore and offshore structures and a range of investment goals.
Mr. Kelly is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School and Williams College. Following law school, he served as a legal fellow for the Wikimedia Foundation and worked in-house for a startup company. Mr. Kelly is admitted to practice in New York and is a member of the New York City Bar Association.
