Case Development - Bruce Bronster, Delton Vandever and Matt Friedenberg Win Dismissal of Suit Against Clients
APRIL 16, 2013

Bruce Bronster, Delton Vandever and Matt Friedenberg obtained a victory in court when a New York federal judge dismissed a lawsuit, filed against several clients and various New York City agencies, alleging that the City's tax lien foreclosure process violated the U.S. Constitution.

Law360 covered the ruling in an April 15th article entitled "BNY Mellon, NYC Beat Class Action Over Tax Liens" (subscription required), in which Bruce was quoted as saying:

  • "Judge Gleeson rendered a well-reasoned, thoughtful, long and speedy decision. The only action that's left is the original action, which now they're protesting."
