Built on a solid base of general commercial representation of domestic and foreign corporations, our practice reflects the varied interests and experience of our attorneys serving the evolving needs of a very diverse client base. In recent years, we have built capabilities in core practice areas to match those offered by much larger firms. To accomplish this, we have encouraged flexibility among our attorneys to respond quickly, creatively and effectively to new assignments.

We offer significant capabilities in commercial law, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, as well as in securities, e-commerce, insurance, environmental and bankruptcy law. A sophisticated banking and financial institutions practice includes capabilities in transactional lending and public finance. Our international practice, serving large foreign corporations and individuals with business interests in the United States, cuts across many practice areas.

Our full-service litigation department has strong capabilities in resolving all types of corporate and commercial, banking, fraud, environmental, employment and discrimination, and insurance disputes, as well as allegations of white collar crime. The firm also has a sophisticated real estate department, having significant experience in every phase of real estate investment, development, financing, leasing, land use, environmental issues and joint ventures; and an active creditors’ rights and workout practice, with experience in bankruptcy litigation and resolution of complex creditor-debtor disputes. Additional practice areas include corporate and individual tax, as well as trusts and estates. Despite our long-standing international practice, we have resisted the trend to merge into mega-law firms and thereby lose our personal style, but we have developed and we maintain close relationships with law firms throughout the United States and the world in order to meet specific client needs.
