Stergios Milona, Jr.
Stergios "Steve" Milona focuses his practice primarily on real estate finance and capital markets representing various institutional lenders, owners and developers. He also represents clients in connection with real estate development and complex transactions, housing, leasing, distressed real estate and land use matters.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Milona co-founded two successful private lending platforms specializing in transitional and distressed commercial real estate assets. His experience includes financial modeling of complex real estate transactions, negotiations with borrowers and creditors involved in legally challenging loan scenarios, loan underwriting, due diligence and servicing, workouts and foreclosures.
While attending Rutgers School of Law-Newark, Mr. Milona was an Editor for the Rutgers Law Review and was awarded the Miron M. Walley Memorial Prize for excellence in course work in the area of real estate law.
